วัดเจ็ดลิน Jed Lin Temple
เป็น วัดที่อยู่บริเวณเดียวกันกับวัดอุโมงค์เถระจันทร์ วัดพันอ้น วัดสำเภอ วัดหมื่นล้าน วัดบ้านปิง เรียกได้ว่า เดินถึงกันได้หมด แต่น่าแปลกที่วัดอยู่ติดๆกันแต่กลับขึ้นอยู่กับตำบลคนละตำบลอ่ะค่ะ
This temple set in the same area of many temples that you can easy walk around to visit all. The temple in this area just like Muen toom, Umong Maha Derajan, Sum pao, Pun-on temple. But it’s strange that these temples be control in different Tumbol. When you cross the road from Jed-lin temple and walk to Muen-lan temple the temple up to different Tumbol but it’s just opposite to each other.

ตาม ประวัติกล่าวว่า ในอดีต กษัตริย์ ในราชวงศ์มังราย พระองค์ใด ก่อนจะขึ้นเสวยราชย์จะต้องไป ทรงผ้าชุดขาว (นุ่งขาวห่มขาว) ณ วัดผ้าขาว ก่อน จากนั้นจะเสด็จ ไปสะเดาะเคราะห์ ณ วัดหมื่นตูม และจะเสด็จไปประกอบพิธีสรงน้ำพุทธาภิเษก ณ หนองน้ำวัดเจ็ดลิน About the history of Vihan we don’t know exactly but in the history that recorded in Mengrai dynasty before to be a king there is a traditional about temples in this area. Before turn to be a king first they have to go to Pa-kao temple (mean white cloth temple) then go to Mean-toom temple for get rid of bad luck next go to Jed lin swamp that in Jedlin temple for bathing holy water.

จริงๆ แล้วก็มีป้ายจารึกประวัติของการสร้างวิหารหลังใหม่หลังนี้ ซึ่งวิหารนี้สร้างขึ้นใหม่บนฐานเดิมค่ะ มีจารึกแต่จารึกบนแผ่นหินอ่อนที่มีลวดลาย ทั้งยังเป็นสีทึบอีกด้วย อ่านไม่ค่อยได้เลยค่ะ แต่รู้ว่าวัดนี้สร้างขึ้นใหม่ไม่กี่ปีมานี้เองค่ There is a marble sign that record the history of this Vihan. It’s new Vihan that rebuild in the same old base. But I can’t read it though it’s thai and English. It’s too small letter and carved in a dark marble sign and hard to read it. And at least I know this Vihan built in this new age.
ช่าง สมัยนี้ก็มีฝีมือไม่แพ้ช่างสมัยก่อนค่ะ จึงเห็นได้ว่าเทคนิคและการสร้างสรรค์งานศิลปะที่วิจิตรของภาคเหนือได้ถ่าย ทอดจากรุ่นสู่รุ่นจริงๆ และนี่เป็นลายหน้าประตูวิหารหลวงของวัดนี้ค่ะ เห็นใหมคะว่าลวดลายงดงามจริงๆ เป็นลายปูนปั้นของช่างสมัยใหม่แต่ก็สวยงามวิจิตรไม่แพ้ของเก่าเลยค่ะ This is new age sculpture at the main door of main Vihan. It’s so elaborate as the old age of craft man. This technique is our heritage from generation to generation.

This is the door behind Vihan this door for the monk get inside Vihan. It’s good for them to get inside without touching the other especially woman accidentally that bring the guilty for the monk (they can’t touch woman by their discipline) but some Vihan has only one door or some don’t have behind door.

I use to know from Joined Sunday cycling club and one of member and teacher in Chiangmai University told me this Buddha use to have only old antique head and next time they combined the new body with it later. So this Buddha image don’t have a perfect shape because of they founded in different time. จาก ที่เคยไปเข้าร่วมกับชมรมจักรยานวันอาทิตย์ อ.มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ ที่เป็นวิทยากรประจำชมรมเล่าให้ฟังว่า แต่ก่อนมีแต่เศียรพระเก่า ต่อมาทางวัดสร้างองค์พระและรวมกับเศียรพระ แล้วนำมาเป็นพระประธานวัดนี้ เลยทำให้รูปทางของพระไม่สมดุลเนื่องจากองค์พระและเศียรพระสร้างคนละช่วงเวลา
ที่ นั่งสำหรับพระเทศน์ เป็นของใหม่แต่สวยงาม ก็เลยถ่ายเก็บไว้ เพราะถ้าเก่าไปตามกาลเวลาลวดลายอาจลอกและชำรุดเสียหาย จนไม่รู้ว่าของชิ้นนี้ตอนสร้างใหม่สวยงามเพียงใด This is the chair for the abbots preaching in the important ceremony. This chair new but very beautiful and exquisite so I took it picture for collect it’s beautiful forever and you can back to know how it’s beautiful though the time pass you by.

This is the head of Buddha image in the temple that set in the land beside of main vihan. They restored by themselves not by recover department. They are not much perfect recover but better than let it’s ruin by do nothing. So why my dream is doing a school to create a craft man to recover the antique all of temple in Chiangmai.นี่ เป็นเศียรพระพุทธรูปที่วางอยู่หน้าวิหาร การซ่อมแซมยังไม่ค่อยประณีตเท่าไร แต่ก็ยังดีกว่าไม่ได้ทำอะไรเลย แล้วปล่อยให้ชำรุดเสียหายไปตามกาลเวลา ดังนั้นจึงเป็นที่มาของความฝันของฉันที่อยากให้มีการสร้างโรงเรียนสำหรับฝึก ช่างให้บูรณะของโบราณในวัดเชียงใหม่
เจดีย์นี้เป็นเจดีย์โบราณสร้างด้วยอิธและประดับด้วยลวดลายปูนปั้น The old pagoda built by brick and old cement
ลวด ลายประดับปูนปั้น ซึ่งได้ถ่ายเก็บรายละเอียดไว้หมดเล้วทุกมุม ลวดลายบางส่วนก็ยังดีอยู่บางส่วนก็หายไป บางส่วนก็ชำรุด น่าเสียดายที่ไม่ได้เก็บภาพไว้ก่อนที่จะชำรุด โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่ง อย่างรูปนี้จะเห้นได้ชัดว่า เคยเป็นรูปปั้นนก แต่หัวนกหายไปแล้ว ซึ่งหากเราถ่ายภาพเก็บไว้ เราก็สามารถซ่อมให้เหมือนเดิมได้มากที่สุดถ้าเรามีช่างที่ดีเพียงพอ The antique sculpture decorate this pagoda some lost some remain but decayed and it’s a pity for me that I can’t take it picture before its’ lost. Just like this picture it’s seem to be a bird but the head of bird lost with time it’s a pity. The photo can collect it’s beauty and rebuild to be the same if we have good craft man enough.
ทาง เดินจากข้างหน้าวัดนำเข้ามาสู่หนองน้ำด้านหลังวัด สะพานนี้สร้างด้วยไม้ไผ่สาน เวลาเดินจะมีเสียงเอี้ยดอ้าด เป็นการสร้างสะพานข้ามน้ำแบบโบราณของคนเหนือ ที่ดูไม่มั่นคงแต่จริงๆ แล้วก็ใช้ได้ดีนะคะ เพราะฉันไปกับชมรมตั้งแต่ปีที่แล้ว แต่สะพานนี้ก็ยังดูดีและใช้ได้อยู่เลย The way from the front that lead to the swamp behind the temple. It’s the bridge made by bamboo weaved it’s the technique of northern and very good of using though when we pass the swamp by using this bridge it’s has a noisy voice. Last year I visited this temple but it’s still good for using this year.
The swamp in the legend that set behind the temple it’s built buy brick and the lead of this temple name Wat Jed lin mean seven stream temple. Because this swamp use for collect the water from 7 steam of the city. หนอง น้ำนี้เป็นหนองน้ำตามตำนานข้างต้น ซึ่งจะมีทางเดินจากหน้าวัดนำไปสู่หลังวัดซึ่งเป็นที่ตั้งของหนองน้ำนี้ หนองน้ำสร้างด้วยอิฐ ใช้เก็บน้ำที่มีจากแม่น้ำ เจ็ดสายจากตัวเมือง อันเป็นที่มาของวัดเจ็ดลิน
