เป็น วัดที่อยู่บริเวณเดียวกันกับวัดอุโมงค์เถระจันทร์ วัดเจ็ดลิน วัดพันอ้น วัดสำเภา วัดหมื่นล้าน วัดบ้านปิง เรียกได้ว่า เดินถึงกันได้หมด แต่น่าแปลกที่วัดอยู่ติดๆกันแต่กลับขึ้นอยู่กับตำบลคนละตำบลอ่ะค่ะ อย่างงนะถ้าจะเดินเที่ยววัดตามตำบลน่ะ น่าจะจัดโซนนิ่งเที่ยววัดดีก่ายังงี้
This temple set in the same area of many temples that you can easy walk around to visit all. The temple in this area just like Muen toom, Jed lin, Umong Maha Derajan, Sam pao, Pun on temple. But it’s strange that these temples be control in different district. That really funny when you cross the road from Pun On temple to Sumpao temple it’s up to different district.

ตาม ประวัติกล่าวว่า ในอดีต กษัตริย์ ในราชวงศ์มังราย พระองค์ใด ก่อนจะขึ้นเสวยราชย์จะต้องไป ทรงผ้าชุดขาว (นุ่งขาวห่มขาว) ณ วัดผ้าขาว ก่อน จากนั้นจะเสด็จ ไปสะเดาะเคราะห์ ณ วัดหมื่นตูม และจะเสด็จไปประกอบพิธีสรงน้ำพุทธาภิเษก ณ หนองน้ำวัดเจ็ดลิน About the history of Vihan we don’t know exactly but in the history that recorded in Mengrai dynasty before to be a king there is a traditional about temples in this area. Before turn to be a king first they have to go to Pa kao temple (mean white cloth temple) then go to Mean toom temple for get rid of bad luck next go to Jed lin swamp that in Jedlin temple for bathing holy water.

วัด นี้เป็นวัดเล็กๆ เนื้อที่กะทัดรัด ไม่ว่าจะเป็นวิหารอุโบสถทุกอย่างดูเล็กๆ กะทัดรัดไปหมด แต่ที่ชอบวัดนี้คือรูปทรงเจดีย์สวยดี น่าจะเป็นเจดีย์รูปทรงเดิมตั้งแต่สมัยราชวงศ์มังรายค่ะ เป็นเจดีย์ที่เป็นทรงล้านนาแท้ไม่ใช่เจดีย์ทรงพม่าแบบยุคหลังๆ ตกแต่งเจดีย์และปลาย ตลอดจน ยอดตรงฉัตร สวยงามแปลกตาดีค่ะ สามารถมองเห็นความสวยงามได้แต่ใกล This temple contains very small building. Every building seem small but compact it’s the classic style of temple from the past. I think because of in the past there are very small people than today so they don’t need to build the big temple. I love the shape of pagoda in this temple it’s classic style I think it’s old style from Mangrai dynasty or we call Lanna style not same like Burma style. I think the umbrella up on the pagoda or we call Chat all shape and decorate with a small piece of color glass and also has a sheet of gold carve in north thai lanna style round under the top of pagoda(chut). And you can see the beautiful and cute shape style from a distant.
ทาง เข้าต้องเดินลึกเข้าไปในซอยเล็กๆ แต่ก็ไม่ใกลมาก ระหว่างเดินก็มีรูปปั้นเทวดานั่งพนมมือเป็นเซรามิก เดินไปชมรูปปั้นไป ก็เพลินไปอีกแบบ รูป ทรงเจดีย์ที่แตกต่างกัน เป็นสีสันของวัดในจังหวัดเชียงใหม่ เพราะมีเจดีย์รูปทรงแปลกๆ แตกต่างกันไปในแต่ละวัดค่ะ ถึงแม้วัดจะดูเล็กแต่บริเวณวัดก็ให้ประชาชนได้ใช้จอดรถยนต์ค่ะไม่คิดตังด้วย ดีจังไม่เหมือนบางวัดที่ล้อแตะลานวัดก็มีคนเดินเข้ามาเก็บตังทันที ไม่รู้ว่าเงินน่ะเข้าประเป๋าใคร คนเก็บก็ต้องกินข้าวไม่ใช่เหรอก็เลยทำเป็นอาชีพช่ายมะล่า ทำไมไม่ให้เขาบริจาคเองล่ะอาจได้มากกว่าด้วยเพราะให้ด้วยความศรัทธา มา เรียกเก็บอย่างนี้รู้สึกไม่ดีเลย วัดนะไม่ใช่ธุรกิจ ทำแบบนี้ยิ่งทำให้ชาวพุทธเสื่อมศรัทธาจนลดจำนวนลงเรื่อยๆ ทำให้วัดดีๆ พระดีๆ อย่างวัดที่เขาเน้นการปฏิบัติน่ะเขาพลอยเสียไปด้วย เพราะชาวพุทธเขาเสื่อมศรัทธาพวกวัดธุรกิจนี่แหละ(บ่น) to visit this temple you have to walk long and deep allay but not too far for walk. You can have pleasure by watching a small sitting ceramic angle along the wall that lead you to this temple. I think Pagoda in Chiangmai have lot of variety shape of pagoda that be our colorful of this land. Though this temple contain very small land and building but also give a land for people parking without asking for money. Not like some temple in Chiangmai that has someone asking for collect money at first when the first wheel tap in front of the gate. People has a job and I don’t know about where money goes for temple and collecting people? I felt bad about temple now that do temple as business. If they want to give they can give by want to give not force. Today some Buddhist decrease faith from our religion by business temple. That really bad for good temple that still have many places in Chiangmai the temple that always be the good example. But bad attitude always easy over good attitude from normal or easy watching from the city ( the good temple always set outside the city)
ดู จากเครื่องไม้ข้างบนวิหารกับอุโบสถ โครงสร้างน่าจะเป็นของเก่าทั้งหมด แต่ลวดลายที่ประดับตกแต่งนั้นคงเป็นของใหม่ เพราะว่าวัดสมัยก่อนนิยมสร้างเล็กๆ ตามจำนวนชาวบ้านซึ่งประชากรไม่มากเหมือนสมัยนี้ ชอบที่วัดนี้ไม่รื้อและสร้างวิหารใหญ่ๆ เหมือนวัดบางวัด ถึงแม้จะผุพังตามกาลเวลาแต่ก็ไม่รื้อและสร้างวิหารใหม่ ยังคงโครงสร้างเล็กๆแบบเดิมไว้ เป็นการรักษารากฐานเดิมของวัดตัวเองไว้ได้ คาดว่าหากมีกิจกรรมศาสนะพิธีประชาชนคงจะนั่งในศาลาการเปรียญรอบๆวัดซึ่ง สร้างกว้างกว่าวิหารได้ เป็นการแก้ปัญหาประชากรล้นวิหารได้ดีกว่ารื้อวิหารเล็กสร้างวิหารใหญ่ 5ถ่าย รูปเพลินๆ ปรากฏว่าแบตหมดเพราะถ่ายวัดนี้เป็นวัดสุดท้ายก่อนกลับแบตก้อเรยหมด เฮ่อเสียดายจัง ถ้ามีโอกาสก็จะมาถามประวัติการสร้างสิ่งปลูกสร้างในวัดอื่นๆ แถมถ่ายรูปที่ตกหล่นไม่ครบน่ะ แต่ช่วงนี้ต้องประหยัดทุกอย่างงดค่าเดินทาง
Back to this good temple. This temple I think it’s still reserve the old structure of the old vihan or Ubosot. Because it’s really be compact small buildings. I love this temple that still remain all structure not like some temple that destroy the old one and built the new bigger building instead. But they salve the problem about a lot of people not enough to make a ceremony in same vihan by built Sala karn prien round along the temple and left the empty in the centre of the land for parking for free. I don’t get all detail of buildings but my battery finished so it’s a pity for me here. I have to back home before time however I will come back to take more picture if I have money to come back here. But this time I have to stop every travel for save money. That so bad.

I love this cute bell. It’s small but decorate with animal round it. I think it’s old antique. At first I don’t want to post this picture here ‘cos I’m worry about the thief but surrender by it’s cute and want you to see it. And I think the thief can’t climp up to the top of high bell hall. They are also have fierce dogs around.(hahahah)
