Plane
The Chiangmai international airport set out of the city wall. There no entrance fee for parking lot but I’m not sure about parking charge for several days. It’s set around 2-300 from the main road that you could catch the red taxi at the main road.

สนามบินนานาชาติเชียงใหม่ ตั้งอยู่นอกเขตกำแพงเมือง ไม่ได้เก็บค่าเข้าที่จอดรถแต่ว่าก็ไม่แน่ใจว่าเขาจะเก็บตังค์ใหมถ้าจอดหลายวัน สนามบินตั้งอยู่ห่างจากถนนใหญ่ประมาณ 300 เมตร ซึ่งไปโบกแทกซี่สีแดงได้ข้างนอก แต่ฉันคิดว่าน่าจะมีรถในสนามบิน จากแทกซี่ที่มาส่งคนที่เดินทางเข้ามาในสนามบิน แต่ไม่แน่ใจว่าจะมีรถแทกซี่จอดรอผู้โดยสารได้เหมือนที่สถานีขนส่งอาเขตหรือเปล่า(ไม่ได้ขึ้นเครื่องบินมาสองปีกว่าแล้วเพราะมันแพงกว่ารถทัวร์แถมไม่มีส่วนรถสำหรับข้าราชการเหมือนรถทัวร์ ฉันจึงไม่รู้ว่าตอนนี้เป็นอย่างไรบ้าง คิดว่าเหมือนกับสนามบินอื่นทั่วโลกคือแทกซี่จะเดินเข้ามาตอมคุณเองถ้าคุณยืนทำหน้าเอ๋อเหรอไม่รู้จะไปใหนอยุ่หน้าสนามบิน
I think you can catch it in the airport when people come to the airport but I’m not sure about taxi station as R Ket station that you can easy catch the red car taxi centre inside the main area of R-Ket bus station (I won’t take a plane for 2 years ‘cos it’s expensive than a bus and doesn’t has discount for government officer as the bus) so I don’t know how it’s like today. However here just like the other places in the world that you don’t have to looking for a taxi. The taxi always asks you themselves when you stand and looks stupid face in front of the airport or any transportation station. There are a lot of plane company but if you want to travel in Thailand. There are 4 companies from Chiangmai to the other provinces.
I remember I use to try every airline except no.4 ‘cos it most expensive however it’s more than 2 years ago so you need the newest information. But now I want to share my experience about my airplane trip to you.
-Thai airway is really high class service so they will service only you are high class people or you are foreigner. If you looks poor they won’t service you much at the plan. I remember Thai airway is my first time plane experience and I was tried it alone from Bkk-Cm. I was young and dress like hippy and looked like a beggar. I told the flight attendant about my first time. I didn’t know how to use a belt and etc. I was asked her twice for orange juice so the old Thai guy seems pity about me and asked for me instead. It’s the first and last time that I use Thai airway our international airline.
-Nok air is the best airline in my opinion. It’s cheaper and the line of Thai airway. But I got a lot of good thing from they service and people of Nok ‘the friendship’you can’t buy it no matter what. I was worked in Bkk for several years suddenly I got bad news. My Dad got a heart attacked and needed emergency operated. The counter not allow to sell ticket in 15 min. before flight so I told them and they let me go with that flight that really impress me. Nok air don’t have anything for eat only you buy same as the other economy airline.
-One 2 go is only economy airline that serve orange juice and a small bag of nut. It’s a pity that the flight not leaving in time so I don’t go with them.
-Air asia is the cheapest economy airline but you have to book for long time for special price. The plane fly in time but I don’t like to stand in the shatter bus with a lot of people for several minutes before I can sit in the plane. And the way to plane always seem really far in my felling.
My best impress trip with plane.
Several year ago I went to the south alone for travel with promotion price and the ticket not allow to change from any condition except you pay extra money(It’s same as the other company about promotion price). I lost my wallet and didn’t have money to back home only one ticket left. I asked them to help ‘cos I didn’t have money to pay extra and also didn’t have the set left in the nation holiday the airline always full. I told them I could sit any place in the plane also in the kitchen only let me back home. Next time they gave me a ticket to back home after checked along my story. That gave me really impress. Nok air or One to go if I don’t have wrong memory from Trang to Bkk.
